What will it cost me?
Two apps in development, one of them live? Just choose the number — Studio is calculated automatically.
The rules, briefly
- 1.Base fee every month, whether or not tasks are posted.
- 2.Hours are billed in 0.25 steps (1.25 = 1 h 15 min) — at the rate of the lane the work was done in.
- 3.Each term is 3 months from the start of the plan; fewer plans end at the end of the current 3-month period.
- 4.Each plan holds one open instruction at a time. Thought of something else? Add it to the open instruction; once we start work on it, you can post the next one.
- 5.Add more plans any time in your account: choose the number, order, done.
☎ Studio Hotline
Call us: Mon–Fri 01:00–10:00 (UK time). If the call is about one of your instructions, say what exactly a change should look like, it counts as work on that instruction: at its plan's hourly rate, in quarter-hour steps. Questions about invoices, your contract or your account cost nothing. Not a client yet? The first call about your project takes 15 minutes and is free.
Businesses only
We work exclusively B2B — for companies based in the UK, the US, the EU (with a valid VAT ID) or Japan, not for private individuals or associations.

UK winter time (GMT); in British Summer Time everything is one hour later. Japan (JST) is 9 hours ahead of GMT. What counts: received before 09:00 JST (midnight GMT) = handled on the same Japanese business day, due 18:00 JST (09:00 GMT). Applies to instructions on a Production plan; Development tasks are handled in order.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Production more expensive than Development? +
Production work can't be batched: it's done the same day, jumps the queue and runs on a system that earns you money. We keep capacity free for it every morning.
Do I need Production once my app is live? +
If you expect time-critical changes to the live system: yes. As long as nothing is urgent, Development is enough — tasks are then handled in order.
What technology do you use? +
Whatever fits your problem. We're not tied to any language — only to three platforms: web, desktop, smartphone.
Who owns the code? +
You do. The source code lives in your own account, for example on GitHub or GitLab. If you don't have one yet, we set it up for you and hand it over. You can take the code with you at any time, including if you cancel.
Can I talk to someone first? +
Yes — 15 minutes free of charge to assess your project. Further consulting runs through a Development plan.

EU member state
Net invoice without VAT (0%). You declare your own country's VAT and deduct it as input tax in the same step (reverse charge, Art. 196 VAT Directive). Requires a valid EU VAT ID.

United States
Invoice in US dollars, without sales tax.
